No chips, cracks or marks. The design on the settings are HAND PAINTED , not decorated with a stencil. This is a "once in a lifetime" opportunity. The pattern has been discontinued. And modern china is made in China. Each piece will be wrapped and packaged perfectly. NOTE seven soup plates have been removed from original listing
